TEC Groups for Engineering and Contracting is proud to announce its collaboration with Schneider Electric on two major projects, taking place in Cairo – Egypt, that exemplify our commitment to modernizing energy infrastructure and improving operational efficiency.
Project 1: Intelligent Control for Medium Voltage Distribution Points
As part of this collaboration, TEC Groups is upgrading the control system of six Medium Voltage (MV) distribution points by integrating Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs). These advanced devices will enable real-time monitoring, data collection, and precise control of the distribution network. This upgrade is designed to enhance system reliability, optimize performance, and provide actionable insights for better decision-making in energy management.
Project 2: Comprehensive Upgrade of 42 MV-LV Kiosks
In another ambitious project, TEC Groups is overhauling 42 MV-LV kiosks. The scope includes the removal of the existing Ring Main Unit (RMU) and the installation of a modern ARMU panel. This advanced panel will significantly improve monitoring and control capabilities, ensuring seamless energy distribution. Additional devices are being integrated to enhance the overall functionality of the kiosks, delivering a complete upgrade tailored to the evolving needs of the power sector.
